Welcome to Uganda! After a warm welcome by our guide at Entebbe International Airport, your guide will transfer you to your hotel. Settle in and prepare for the adventure that lies ahead.

Drive from Entebbe to Kibale National Park, have a drive through Fort Portal, the capital of Tooro Kingdom, shadowed by the magnificent Rwenzori Mountains. Journey through lush tea plantations, arriving in Kibale National Park by afternoon.
Mid-range option: Turaco Tree Tops- Luxury cottage

Driving time: About 6-7 hours
Experience an exhilarating trek to meet the habituated chimpanzees of Kibale! These playful apes share many traits with humans, making this encounter unforgettable. Afterwards, explore the rich biodiversity of Bigodi Swamp with a guided walk through local community areas.

Today, you will drive by road to Bwindi, home to half of the world’s mountain gorilla population, , as well as unique bird species including 23 of the 24 Albertine Rift endemic bird species including the Blue-throated Broadbill, bar-tailed Trogon, and other beautiful forest species. Relax and prepare for an incredible gorilla trekking experience the next day.

Driving time: 7-8 hours.
After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing and set off for an unforgettable gorilla trekking journey. Led by experienced rangers, the trek which takes between 2 and 7 hours will be challenging but deeply rewarding as you get to spend a full hour in close proximity with a gorilla family.
Optional afternoon activities include a visit to the Batwa community, Pangolin conservation project and Ride for a woman community project or simply relaxing back at the lodge.
