6 Days Rongai Route

The 6-Days Rongai Route offers an exceptional and scenic adventure to Mount Kilimanjaro’s summit. Starting from the less-travelled northern side, it’s one of the quietest routes, providing a peaceful trek through lush rainforests, where you can spot Kilimanjaro Colobus monkeys. As you ascend, the route takes you through diverse landscapes, including moorlands and alpine deserts, leading to stunning views of the Kibo and Mawenzi peaks. The Rongai Route is known for its high success rate due to the gradual altitude gain, giving trekkers plenty of time to acclimatize.

The summit day is the highlight of the trek, with an early morning start to tackle the challenging switchbacks and reach Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. After taking in the magnificent views and sunrise at the top, you’ll descend to Horombo Hut for a rest before completing the trek to Mandara Hut and Marangu Gate. With breathtaking vistas and excellent acclimatization opportunities, the Rongai Route offers an unforgettable Kilimanjaro experience.

      What Our
      Guests Are Saying?

All i got from our trip at Tarangire National park, Serengeti National park and Ngorongoro conservation area, it was so wonderful it was such an amazing trip that i have never experience before. We saw how the great nature of Tanzania looks. We saw different universal icon which present Africa like Acacia, great migration of Wildebeest and Zebras , Ngorongoro Crater also Olduvai Gorge. I can not say it enough Kilifaithadventures is the best and finest company ever.

We booked our Tanzania safaris from home with Kilifaith Adventures. Faith is very professional, not complicated, and wanted us to have a good time in Tanzania. Everything was organized very well, the price-performance ratio was very good, and as we have hoped. The guide had great knowledge about the landscape, the animals and could deal with the "safari problems" (flat tire and a little electronic problem). The cook Juma is absolutely amazing and we really felt that cooking is his passion. We always had great breakfasts, a huge fruity lunch, and very healthy and fantastic dinners. Great company and absolutely recommend them!

I did the 7 day Machame route. Our guide Joseph got us all to the top. We were met at the airport by Junior and took us to the lodge. We met a wonderful staff at the lodge and met our coordinator Faith. We did a 3 day safari after our climb and it was amazing as well. One of the best vacations we have ever done in 20 years. Highly recommend Kilifaith adventures and request Joseph Moshaas your guide.
