On the final day, choose between another gorilla trek or the chance to trek golden monkeys. Alternatively, explore Kigali’s history with a visit to the Genocide Memorial Museum before departing. Depart early for the park headquarters, where you'll receive a briefing on gorilla trekking. Embark on an exhilarating trek, led by an experienced ranger, through the foothills of the Virunga Mountains in search of a gorilla family. Once found, you’ll have an unforgettable hour to quietly observe these majestic primates. Return to the lodge for relaxation.

On your final day, choose between a rare golden monkey trekking experience in Volcanoes National Park or a second gorilla trekking experience otherwise a return to Kigali for a city tour, including a visit to the Genocide Memorial Museum.
